About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Slough. This is a permanent role starting in September, suitable for both early career teachers and experienced practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
• Encourage critical thinking, debate, and cultural understanding
• Plan, assess, and monitor student progress effectively
• Contribute to curriculum development within the department
• Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies
• Ability to inspire and challenge students
• Commitment to inclusive and high-quality teaching
• Strong classroom management skills
